A final sprint before 2025: successes and prospects for Applium

The commercial activity over the past few weeks remains particularly strong and has resulted in the signing of several deals, including :

Adisseo

After long deliberation between Delaware, Codilog, STMS, and Viséo, Adisseo chose Applium to carry out its S/4HANA (RISE) scoping project. Services will take place from December 2024 to January 2025.

AdVini

A RISE subscription contract (replacing SAP ECC6) and associated managed services.
The migration project to S/4HANA is being handled by Delaware (Applium did not bid on this topic).
However, AdVini has requested Applium’s assistance with a preparatory service for the ECC6 system prior to conversion to S/4HANA.

Bordeaux Mérignac Airport (ADBM)

Signing of S/4HANA licenses (On-Premise instead of RISE due to confidentiality and data sovereignty concerns). Following the recently completed scoping, we are progressing on a migration proposal to S/4HANA to be carried out in 2025.

Business France

The V.I.Sion 24 project aims to implement within SAP the management of calculation and oversight for billing of V.I.E (Volunteers for International Experience).

Crédit Logement

SAP ECC6 application management contract.

Cultura

Placement of Matthias Vincent as a Fiori authorization consultant and Raphaël Pastou as the S/4HANA transition plan leader. Congratulations to both for their successful interviews in a highly competitive context. Matthias and Raphaël join Bertrand d’Ales and Pascal Loarec, reinforcing Applium’s presence with this client. Additional placements are underway for this significant S/4HANA implementation project, though its operational start might be delayed.

Eurolysine (formerly Metex NoovistaGO, acquired by Groupe Avril last july)

Upgrades to S/4HANA 2023 and BW/4HANA 2023, along with updates to various OpenText solutions.

National Institute of Geographic and Forestry Information (IGN)

Public tender for SAP software maintenance for the 2025/2026 period.

Lactalis

Deployment of OpenText solutions in Germany, led by Guillaume Hocquemiller, who is further enhancing his already excellent German skills.

Materna

A brand-new client for Applium. The company produces baby food jars for private labels. They have entrusted us with software maintenance (replacing Viséo) and application management (replacing a Portuguese partner). Discussions on their migration to S/4HANA will begin shortly.

Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolis

SAP BO application management + software maintenance. This is a new client won through a public tender. After losing several similar tenders recently, we’ve achieved a first success! Kudos to Myriam Dandoga for this victory.

Pomona

SAP BI expertise mission by François Mauget. Thank you, François, for bringing back this client where Applium hadn’t worked in a while !

Régie des Transports Métropolitains (RTM)

A long-time Applium client is planning its migration to S/4HANA and has entrusted Applium with the S/4HANA scoping. Concurrently, Applium teams continue deploying MM and VIM features in four privately-held RTM subsidiaries.

Salins du Midi

The client has added additional subscriptions to the contract signed last December (50 FUE, 50 SAC users, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Transportation Management for €12.5M in annual transport costs). The SAC solution is gaining significant traction among users, who are increasingly requesting access. The S/4HANA RISE Greenfield project continues to keep Applium teams busy, with a few months’ delay in the Italy Go-Live.

SGD Pharma

Placement of two external consultants for Finance AMOA and FI/CO expertise missions.

Toray Films Europe

RISE subscription contract (replacing SAP ECC6). It is surprising to sign our fourth RISE contract this year with Toray, a company that previously rejected our proposals for S/4HANA migration. Kudos to Joseph Idiartegaray for uncovering this opportunity.
The migration project to S/4HANA is being handled by partner Hargos, who unfortunately won against Applium during the consultation phase for services.

The upcoming weeks promise to be even busier with decisions awaited from clients like :

Adisseo

Placement of two consultants (a SAP architect and a SAP O2C expert) to strengthen the team. Myriam Dandoga and Aurélie Bassene, we’re counting on your determination !

API Ma Superette

Sale of S/4HANA Public Retail subscriptions (implementation will follow).

Cultura

Several ongoing placements of SAP Finance AMOA consultants at this growing client for Applium. We’re also expecting their TMA specifications in early January.

French Blood Establishment (EFS)

Renewal of the SAP license and maintenance contract for five years. This market positions us as the sole partner capable of providing S/4HANA licenses for their eventual conversion in 2025 or 2026.

PAM Building

Carve-out project for this entity sold by Saint-Gobain. Applium is also pursuing SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (RISE) subscriptions, Azure hosting, and associated managed services.

Perenco

This SAP ECC6 client in oil extraction is preparing for S/4HANA conversion and has requested Applium’s S/4HANA scoping offer.

Salins du Midi

Implementation of SAP Responsible Design and Production (RDP) in Italy/Netherlands/Spain/France.

Verescence

RISE subscription contract (replacing SAP ECC6), managed services, Azure hosting, and S/4HANA conversion starting in early 2025.

Vinci Autoroutes

Data archiving project (database exceeds 7TB) and potential TMA contract.

This is just a glimpse of the deals currently in our sales pipeline, focusing only on those likely to close in the coming weeks. In a generally gloomy economic context, our clients continue to evolve their SAP information systems. However, it’s clear that all our offerings align with cost-optimization strategies for all clients.

More updates in the next Applium Internal Newsletter in January—if we recover quickly enough from the holiday festivities!
