Projects in motion: major progress for Applium at the end of the year

Project activity is particularly intense as we approach the end of the year. Here are a few examples—though not exhaustive—of our ongoing activities, which we wanted to highlight with a spotlight.

S/4HANA Public Cloud

The 40-30 Group offers a full range of solutions for industrial maintenance activities. The project has just entered the « Explore » phase, during which « Fit to Standard » design workshops are held.

This implementation provides Applium with the opportunity to integrate several innovative tools and solutions for the first time with S/4HANA Cloud:

S/4HANA Conversions :

The conversion project from ECC to RISE, specifically S/4HANA Private Cloud 2023, for our client ELKEM SILICONES is progressing on schedule.

In addition to the technical conversion tasks, the team is exploring the benefits of FIORI during workshops and presenting new S/4HANA features.

Applium is also providing services to host and manage several SAP peripheral applications in Microsoft Azure Cloud—what we refer to as the « Sidecar Azure » model.

Our ability to deliver and manage all these topics with unified governance is one of our strengths and is greatly appreciated by our client.

Managed Services :

The project activity here is also high. Three go-lives with different types of services for three distinct clients will occur on December 8th !

For SNETOR

A « move » of their existing Azure infrastructure to RISE Private Cloud.

For CHPG – Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace of the Principality of Monaco

A migration of their existing ECC environments to HANA-based infrastructure.

For SGD Pharma

An upgrade of their existing S/4HANA system to the latest 2023 release.

100% OpenText Projects :

Applium is supporting ETANCO and its parent company, Simpson Tie, in building a global, international « Core Model » solution around VIM. A first pilot was put into production in Sweden, Norway, and Poland for Simpson Tie companies on November 4th. The Go-live for the second pilot, for ETANCO companies in Poland, will take place on December 2nd, followed by France shortly after. These areas will then transition to TMA under Applium. Initial feedback from users of the solution has been positive. ETANCO and Simpson Strong-Tie are already planning further deployment waves internationally with Applium throughout 2025.

A number of other OpenText projects have very recently gone successfully into production, and will be the subject of a dedicated communication in the near future.
